Alycia Debnam-Carey is a star of the television series Fear the Walking Dead. Born in Sydney, she began her acting career when she was eight. Martha's New coat was her debut film role. In an episode of McLeod's Daughter, she got her TV debut. Her role was prominent as a regular on the sci-fi television show The 100. Based on the novel series which had the same title the show was a remake of a television show. The character she played was Commander Lexa who was an imposing leader for twelve clans. On Fear the Walking Dead she played a powerful leader of twelve clans. Critics have praised the show and there are multiple nominations and awards. Jigsaw Girl or The Branch, are two of her other short films. The first time she appeared was as a leading lady in the disaster film made from found footage film Into the Storm. Although the film was not popular with the critics, it performed very well in terms of commercial results.
